I guess this needs some explanation :) there is the "camera toss" technique of taking pictures: you just set your camera to long exposure, toss it up in the air and then see what happened. The result often looks better than it sounds, for instance here on Flicker: http://flickr.com/photos/tags/cameratoss/
Anyway: the "camera carry" technique is a bit similar. It is done by inadvertently leaving the self timer on, walk through a train compartment and later - at home - discovering the result. :)
