As they say, men are just bigger boys, so they need bigger toys.

In that spirit, I started the new year with a truckload of new gear: a Canon EOS 40D camera; three new lenses (a Tamron 17-50mm, a Canon 85mm and a Sigma 50-150mm); and a Sigma 2x teleconverter.

I have absolutely no idea how I could possibly justify this upgrade, but luckily I don't have to. Happy months of playing are ahead!
