Somehow it seems to have eluded the attention of most people I asked, but it's true nevertheless: we haven't seen the sun since the middle of December here in Budapest. Not a trend I am hoping to see continued.

But the lack of sun makes for wonderful, moody images. I have been waiting all winter for weather like this but have not been successful.

Roberta, once or twice a winter - absolutely. But not for three weeks continuously, smack in the middle of the holiday season. Trust me on that. :)
